Marafiq PI Support Contract Award!

Yet another 3 year PI Support Contract renewal at Marafiq whom EMI had a support Contract with since 2010! EMI is looking forward for having a successful value added support contract with Marafiq delivering the following services: Maintenance of PI Interfaces and PI servers , Upgrades to latest versions of PI Software, Fixing and Maintaining SharePoint Applications, Maintaining PI AF Asset database, PI System Administrative training and other services.

SWCC Central PI System part of LDC Project

A strategic partnership with Khatib and Alami on this project has accumulated in an award of a challenging PI System Implementation integrating 23 of SWCC Desalination plants spread all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a period of 4 months! The Project includes implementation of a secure 1 way data transfer (using data diodes) from the plants to HQ Central HA PI Server. Additionally, advanced PI Services are included as part of the deliverables such as GIS Integration and other services for advanced reporting, visualizations and KPIs. EMI will also be responsible for the maintenance of the data diodes during the warranty period.

Aramco TMS Project Award!

Continued trust of Aramco in EMI advanced services work has accrued in award of a challenging project of overhauling the existing Tag Management System based on Oracle and Spotfire. The robust solution will be using a customized .net implementation of state of the art algorithms for fast processing of Tag Qualities data from the field and creating the corresponding event frames in PI AF then Displaying the results in a flexible HTML5 Dashboards environment allowing for different users to look at the data in a predefined set of reports as well as the flexibility of manipulating the reports and dashboards for their own needs.

Sharq PI Services Support Contract

Sharq’s extended use of the PI system and the vital need for supporting the PI system has cumulated into a new 3 year support contract awarded to EMI , containing the following services: Maintenance of PI Interfaces and PI servers , Upgrades to latest versions of PI Software, Fixing and Maintaining SharePoint Applications, Maintaining PI AF Asset database, PI System Administrative training and other services.

SABIC T&I System Migration and Upgrade

EMI won the SABIC tender to migrate and upgrade the T&I PI system in Riyadh. This project consisted also of upgrading all the interfaces in the 5 plants and installation of a PI AF Server.

EMI Announces the First Version of Real-Time GIS Integrator and HTML5 Dashboarding Solution

EMI announces the release of the first version of the Real-Time GIS integrator and HTML5 dashboarding solution. With its full HTML 5 capabilities, the integrator is able to represent all your assets on ESRI maps, in addition to fully interactive HTML5 charts. Features include:
  • Real-time representation of all AF attributes and their data on ESRI maps
  • Spatially aware representation of AF assets, and real-time multi-state symbolization
  • Real-time fully customizable and interactive HTML charts
  • Vehicle Tracking integration and emergency messages broadcasting
  • Sahara Aspen InfoPlus.21 System Upgrade

    Sahara has awarded EMI a services contract to upgrade their IP.21 System at Al-Waha Plant to the latest version and migrate it to new Virtual Machines and implement redundancy using Failover Clustering. LIMS integration will be enhanced and the tags utilization shall be refined using Custom Definition Records. Moreover, more than 100 Graphics displays shall be implemented as part of this project and deployed to AspenOne Process Explorer.

    SEC Transmission Operations Data System (TODS)

    EMI was subcontracted by Crucial Solution and Service (CSS) to work on the PI System scope of the Transmission Operations Data System (TODS) for National Grid in KSA. The project has three main inspirations in mind: Bringing together data originating from all around the kingdom to a central data repository to form a “data lake”, Applying the latest techniques of Big Data analysis, and providing meaningful information to all applicable SEC departments in order to Decrease reaction time to any emergency.
