Web-Enabled Irrigation Controller
In this example, a SmartStorm is wired to the sprinkler valve box and an Ethernet connection is made to a local network/Internet. Using a standard web browser, the SmartStorm is configured to run the sprinkling system on a schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5am-7am. The SmartStorm is set to increase the watering schedule in the peak summer months, and decrease the schedule during the cooler watering months.
Temperature & Rain Sensor Automatic Shutoff
It is also connected to a temperature sensor and a rain sensor and it’s configured to shut off the sprinkling system when the temperature reaches below 45 degrees fahrenheit and to automatically turn off the schedule when it is raining.
Remote Valve Control
The SmartStorm also allows for remote control of the valves. If an area of the lawn looks dry, you can easily go to the control panel on your phone or computer and manually water the dry area.
No Cloud Services or Monthly Fees
ControlByWeb products are stand-alone, independent devices. There are no monthly fees, and no additional software to install.
